• Student & academic data — profiles, batches, attendance, marks and test results entered by the institute.
• Financial data — fee plans, invoices and payment records (payment card data is processed by our payment gateway, not stored by us).
• Usage data — log data, device and browser information, and cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information to:

• Provide, operate and maintain the CloudSkool platform.
• Process fees, generate invoices and send notifications.
• Respond to enquiries, demo requests and support tickets.
• Improve our services and develop new features.

3. Student Data & Role of the Institute

Institutes are the owners ("data controllers") of the student and parent data they upload. CloudSkool processes this data on their behalf solely to provide the service. We do not sell student data or use it for advertising.

We share data only with:

• Trusted service providers (e.g., payment gateways, SMS/email and cloud hosting) bound by confidentiality.
• Authorities when required by law or to protect our legal rights.
• A successor entity in case of a merger or acquisition, under the same protections.

We use bank-level encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and automatic daily backups. While no system is completely secure, we work continuously to protect your information.
